5+ Cool Shops of Heroes, Heroines & Machines: All About Tokyo Character Street in Tokyo Station Part 3
Tokyo Character Street is a collection of official shops of Japanese and foreign characters – Perhaps you remember Part 1 Cute Items and Part 2 Kabuki Shop. Finally this is Part 3, the last post of All About Tokyo Character Street in Tokyo Station series.
Tokyo Character Street is not filled with only fluffy items and traditional crafts.
Let’s see COOL heroes, heroines and machines. How many of them do you know?
Contents
1: Jump Shop
Many of popular mangas are on Weekly Shonen Jump, a manga magazine. (Sorry if it’s common sense for you!)
Jump Shop is the official shop of Jump mangas such as One Piece, Naruto, Breach, etc. You might have seen some of these heroes. (Sorry if it’s common sense for you!!)

One Piece, Naruto, Breach… they are Jump Heroes! |
They sell manga books, official items of those mangas, and Jump magazines. Personally, it’ll be a good memory to get a copy of Weekly Shonen Jump.
Here are 2 Travel Tips from me.
Tip 1: Sometimes we can see some signatures of Jump manga artists. I can’t tell when – Just take a chance!
Tip 2: If your favorite manga hero is not a Jump hero, browse the shops of TV stations in Tokyo Character Street. For example, you’ll meet Detective Konan in Nittere-ya (Nihon TV Shop.)

Goku from Dragon Ball and Devil Fruits from One Piece |
My personal recommendation is Luffy’s straw hat. Luffy’s hat in the manga has three damages and mending (Sorry if it’s common sense for you!!!), and at Jump Shop, you can get a straw hat that completely catches them!
2: Click Brick Lego Shop
Fans are all over the world. It’s Lego’s official shop.

Lego Ninjas! |
There are limited items available. You can see a ninja, too!
3: Tomica Shop
Tomicas are miniature cars. They are not just toys, but each’s details are breathtaking. Toyota, Porsche, London Bus, ambulances, racing cars… They are all based on the real, specific car models. So there are many enthusiastic collectors. The official, professional shop has more models than normal toy shops!

If you have a car yourself, you possibly find your model |

Even if you felt that it is not a shop for you, you’ll change your mind when you see this.

Cute cars!! |
Miffy cars, Rilakkuma cars, Snoopy cars, Pikachu cars! Kawaii cars next to serious cars!! Tomica is positive to collaborate with other characters, TV show and movies. There are Hello Kitty, Mario, Star Wars, etc.
4: PLARAIL Shop

Miniature trains are going around! |
The importance of TRAINS depends on the country. I suppose that in some countries they are just practical and boring transportation and people use cars and ferries in their daily lives and trips.
But in Japan, trains are definitely the main transportation, so they are very cool for many of machine fans.
Then, some people make miniature trains, some become collectors, and finally a shop opens.

PLARAIL Shop next to Tomica Shop – People are staring at the real diorama. |
You can get any trains and rails in the diorama in the first photo. If you find a favorite CAR in it, go to the neighboring shop.
5: Others – In case you love them
I’m not sure if you know the following heroes and heroines, and I don’t know them very well myself, but photos won’t be in vain to explore Tokyo Character Street on a blog…
Ultraman is a Japanese super hero. TV shows of super heroes like Ultraman use SFX and it attracts some movie freaks… I can talk about arts.

I personally didn’t like battling heroine animes such as Sailer Moon in my childhood because they were too frightening to me… so please don’t ask me about Precure.

Precure Pretty Store |
I personally didn’t have a dream to become a popular singer in my childhood, but this time, I understand that there must be girls who get absorbed in that kind of stories!

Aikatsu Style |
But it is not very easy to explain things I don’t know well anyway…
There are some more character shops in Tokyo Character Street – I suppose they are too local for my blog. A list of all the shops in Tokyo Character Street is here.
Bonus: Gundam Cafe
(Attention: Gundam Cafe CLOSES on 31 August, 2016.) This is not inside Tokyo Character Street, but very close.

Fantastic! I LOVED my lego when I was young … and Ultraman sounds pretty cool 😀 Looks like a fun way to spend a day – or a week!!
Ultraman still has many grown-up fans.
I was surprised when my Brazilian friend told me that the TV shows of a group of superheroes (People transform themselves into Superhero Red, Blue, Yellow, etc, and fight against the evils) are popular in Brazil. I'm not sure of Ultraman, but I wrote about the shop for fans of this kind of shows in the world.
And Tokyo Station has a lot of foods as well 😀
